Welcome to our school
British School Vilanova is a well-established English Language School since 1970, specialised in teaching English as a second language in Catalunya, Spain. We are a recognised centre by the University of Cambridge for local YLE (Young Learners Examinations).
Our facilities
We are situated in a listed historical building in the centre of the town Vilanova i la Geltrú. Preserving the history of the building, we have adapted our classrooms to facilitate and optimise learning, including interactive whiteboards and Wi-Fi connection throughout the building for online classes. Our academy has a reception and office area, library, multimedia classroom, 2 playgrounds and 10 classrooms of 30 m² each.
Teaching
Our teaching department is run by the Head of Studies and a team of well-qualified native teachers. At British School we teach English at Nursery level, elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. We prepare our students of all ages for University of Cambridge TESOL examinations.
